 Arms made of hunger : Watercolor & rice on paper : 7 x 11 inches When I started thinking about this work I was trying not to touch the tension between the two lands but it was very hard to negate the reality. Found knife as a tool for protection and at the same time the price we pay to acquire it. This exercise of defense in this region is not new though it is a historical fact. I was also very much interested to send an arm to Pakistan which looks similar to a conventional one but contains hunger. |
